About

Rock ‘n’ roll is back and it’s dangerous

Having put in hours on the road doing things the hard way, southern quartet Circus 66 have refined their razor sharp and raw hard rocking sound into something capable of flattening small towns. Fronted by the extraordinary siren call of Annabelle Zaychenko, the four-piece bring an undisputable swagger to their anthemic material, the riffs crushing but matched with irresistibly huge hooks. Providing the dazzling fretwork, master craftsman Matt Pearce brings both style and power in his playing as bass player Luke Ward and drummer Leigh Holley lay down a locomotive powered drive that both pummels and swings.

With critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Follow the Black Crow, behind them already, their sophomore follow-up ‘Elements’ is ready to be launched onto the world and promises to shake things up even further. Stretching their wings, this new release sees Circus 66 bring new tones into their sound as kaleidoscopic hues and patterns explode from the speakers. Ready to take this new beast back on the road, the band already have a number of festival dates lined up and a full tour is being lined-up for the autumn. There’s never been a better time to run off and join the Circus.

HISTORY...

The British group came to life in 2013 - starting out as a 3-piece line-up, building the fundaments of their sound, whilst winning over more fans and experimenting with different creative ideas. Their 2014 debut EP, aptly titled “Act I,” was a bold statement, followed by another EP a year later.

Soon after, the group had the chance to share the stage with acts such as The Wild Lies, Sons of Icarus, Tequila Mockingbird, Massive Wagons, Hells Gazelles & The Dust Coda. Even after 2 successful releases, Circus 66 was still on the lookout for new ideas and a different creative direction.

They welcomed in a 4th member - vocalist Annabelle. She helped the band find their distinctive sound, with her POWERHOUSE vocals. Their 3rd EP release, “Showtime” is an explosive combination of rock music with catchy melodies and upbeat influences.

Early 2019 saw bassist Luke & drummer Leigh join the band, and complete the current line-up. 2019 Circus 66 homed in their sound with their new members and found what they were looking for.

2020 saw the band return to the studio, creating and recording their first full length album “Follow the Black Crow”, a masterpiece of sonic glory taking inspiration from the band’s eclectic music tastes and delivering a swathe of powerful music to listeners.

2021 - 2022 the band completed a two part UK tour to play their debut album in full across the country. Reaping the rewards of new fans, killer publicity with stellar reviews and airplay Circus 66 featured on national media outlets such as Planet Rock, Hard Rock Hell Radio, culminating with a live on-air performance on the BBC.

2023 Circus 66 join forces with heavy-weight US Record distributor DI Records, are nominated for best rock single by Radio Wigwam as they release a brand new track "A Little Piece of Magic" from their upcoming second album title "Elements".

2024 see's the band reach new heights with a second single release "Replace the Pain" hitting airwaves globally. After coming runners up in Stonedead's Opening Poll, narrowly missing the mark, Circus 66 are certain the new record will secure them the slots the strive to achieve. 2025 is set to be the bands best year by far. Circus 66 have also just announced teaming up with New Horizon Music Agency in anticipation of putting together an Autumn tour for the release of  "Elements". Watch this space, and prepare for the bands social media to blow-up as what's about to happen, can only be described as.... well, you'll hear about it.

Circus 66 are set to drop their second studio album, in Autumn 2024.
